Content Marketing: Any marketing format that involves the creation and sharing of media and publishing content in order to acquire customers is generally called content marketing. Content marketing is focused not on selling, but on simply communicating with customers and prospects. The idea is to inspire business and loyalty from buyers by delivering "consistent, ongoing valuable information".
Content Management System (CMS): This refers to a user being able to login to some sort of "back-end" on a website so they can make changes to the "front-end" - changing graphics, text, menu items & links. A robust CMS can also have other components or modules that can expand or provide a number of different features. Newsletters, analytics, contact forms, maps and many other possibilities are available. There are a few Content Management Systems available, some of the most popular are: Joomla, Wordpress & Drupal.
Website Analytics: Some sort of software that measures website traffic, where it comes from and what referred it. This can help you see the kind of traffic certain blog posts or web pages generate. The most popular by far is Google Analytics, mainly because it's free. A few other notable ones are Piwik & Open Analytics.
Social Media Marketing: Social media marketing refers to the process of gaining website traffic or attention through social media sites. Social media marketing programs usually center on efforts to create content that attracts attention and encourages readers to share it with their social networks.
Blogging: On a blog, the content consists of articles (also sometimes called "posts" or "entries") that the author(s) writes. Blogs range from the personal to the political, and can focus on one narrow subject or a whole range of subjects. Blogs are a great way to generate keyword-rich, fresh content that search engines love.
Mobile App: A mobile app, short for mobile application or just app, is application software designed to run on smartphones, tablet computers and other mobile devices. This is different than having a mobile-friendly website, which is just your site formatted to look nice on smart phones.
Mobile-friendly Website: Your website formatted to look nice on any smartphone or tablet. This can generally go hand in hand with a responsive website.
E-commerce: Electronic commerce, commonly known as e-commerce or eCommerce, is a type of industry where the buying and selling of products or services is conducted over the internet. This generally refers to having an online store where you can sell your goods.
